We Are / She Is is an alternative rock duo composed of Merilou Salazar (guitar, synthesizer, vocals) and Jessie Meehan (bass, synthesizer, vocals). They are based in Buena Park, CA and formed in the summer of 2010.
Their energetic and spunky tunes speak from optimistic souls as they draw to inspire those who are willing to listen. With animated performances and foot-tapping beats, the duo makes sure that they leave behind nothing less than an incredibly fun and unforgettable performance.
We Are / She Is draws influences from artists such as The Killers, Matt and Kim and The Ting Tings as they combine dance-synth with indie-rock.
