BLACK FAG, the "absolutely FABULOUS" tribute to Black Flag "came out" in 2006 and has been adding a controversial touch of pink to the punk/hardcore scene ever since. The band plays extremely faithful versions of over two dozen Black Flag classics, adding only a lisp, a limp wrist, and a series of choreographed dance numbers!
Over the past five years, BLACK FAG has played at the annual Punk Rock Bowling Tournament in Las Vegas, toured with Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, performed in seven European countries, and opened for punk legends such as NOFX, The Circle Jerks, T.S.O.L., The Germs, and The Dickies. Black Fag's full-length CD has been praised by former Flag members Keith Morris, Ron Reyes, and Chuck Dukowski and 10% of the profits from the album are donated to various gay-oriented charities.
